Honey Soy and Garlic Prawns

Remember that Asian banquet that my sister and I cooked up for our family? I hope you all enjoyed the Teriyaki and Sesame Lamb recipe – we certainly enjoyed eating it! As promised here is a second recipe using the Maggi Stir Fry Creations range – Honey, Soy and Garlic Prawns with Capsicum and Snow Peas. Don’t forget to read to the end for the best. giveaway. ever.

This little winner has a delicious sweet flavour without being too sticky and overpowering like some sauces can be. The crisp snow peas and crunchy capsicum were a perfect match with slippery, slurpy noodles. I love the amount of sauce that comes with the Maggi Stir Fry Creations range, it’s just right amount to coat the noodles and give a kick of flavour. I’d like to try the Honey, Soy and Garlic Stir Fry with chicken, bok choy and broccoli too. I think that would be so yummy!

The Maggi Stir Fry Creations range made is so easy to throw together a fresh and tasty dinner for our family. Just two steps and dinner is on the table – not just any dinner either. One that is healthy, well balanced and full of flavour. I’m going to make sure that I’ve always got some Maggi Stir Fry Creations in the pantry, then I’ll know that dinner is never far away, especially on those busy days.

  1. honey soy and garlic. honey for the daughter that likes a bit of sweet, soy for the daughter that likes a bit of salt and garlic for the daughter that likes a little bit of taste. sounds to me like a winner!!!!

  2. My girls love teryaki flavour so the Teryaki and Sesame would be my go-to pack. Nice and sweet for the kiddies but still delish for the adults too.

  3. The moment dinner I serve,
I try to hold my nerve.
kids may like it or give it a chuck,
    saying its nothing but yuck.
    It does break my heart,
& i think my cooking lacks the spark.
Honey, Soy & Garlic Chicken Stir fry is the flavour,
I add it to my dishes and kids do me a favour.
they will sit on the dinning table like a duck,
asking for more and i won’t believe my luck.

  4. Hi there, my 5 children would so love the honey, soy and garlic stir fry creation. I would add chicken, red capsicum, snowpeas and broccoli, DELICIOUS, quick and easy!

  5. Honey, Soy & Garlic Chicken would be the winner for our household. Mainly because we love to serve up fish, for health reasons, but we are forced to call it chicken as it would destroy their love of Nemo – their favourite movie.

Honey is always a good addition to any meal. Disguising any stronger flavours and making it sweet to appeal.

Any mention of honey and our children break out in giggling jitters singing the tune “Pass me the honey, honey. Pass me the sugar, sugar. Pass me the tea, bag” . They think it’s a hoot!

  6. I’m proud to say my 2 year old likes chilli and spice and we are delighted by this as this is the kind of cuisine we prefer to eat. So we would love to try the Sweet Chilli Ginger and Lemongrass Chicken. Oh did I mention the I get tingles are the mere mention of Scanpan? I do!

  7. I think Honey, Soy & Garlic would be a winner with my two girls. Although Cherub my youngest is pretty fussy so I think I would have to be a little creative with what ingredients I toss in the stirfry to encourage her to eat it, probably peas & corn (her favourites) along with some chicken, red capsicum and fresh beans, yummo! :)

  8. I think the garlic and ginger would be great to ward off winter colds at our house. Just need a wok to cook it in!

  9. Definitely honey, soy and garlic! Favourite for the whole family- I love flavours that are enjoed by everyone, rather than a kids and adult version

  10. Honey, soy and garlic, all flavours that my kids love. I have tried making a honey soy marinade before, thinking that they would love it, but I was a bit off in my blending of flavours, and it didn’t go down so well. I know my kids would love it if Maggi made the marinade instead of mummy!!!!

  11. My little one’s are so difficult to feed
But a delicious stir fry is just what they need
And for that extra special flavour kick
I’d add Maggi Stir Fry Creations Honey, Soy & Garlic

  12. My kids would definately love the Honey Soy Garlic. We make our own version of Honey Soy and Mustard at home and they can’t get enough of that but they would love the garlic because mum has finally convinced them that garlic and onion are good for keeping away sickness. Mums are so smart.

  13. With the twins always sick at the moment my nerves are frayed and dinner time is a little stressful to say the least! So a stir fry could be just perfect and the garlic, honey and soy might just help chase some of those germs away too!
Combined with some fresh vegies from our garden this would make such a quick and easy meal with no stress involved…great time saving idea for us busy Mummies!
Your creation looks so yummy! Thanks for offering the giveaway…wouldn’t that scanpan wok be just perfect to try out the sauces in!!

  14. We got a sample pack of Infusions and my fussy boy loved it – so much so I went and purchased more …Teriyaki & Sesame Chicken Stir fry is his favourite.
With those noodles he will be licking the plate clean instead of still there 30 mins after we all finish.

  15. My children (including my husband) would enjoy the Honey, Soy and Garlic – From fussy eaters (daughter and husband) to my “will eat anything – including the kitchen sink” son! It will definitely be a hit in our household! Sweet, Savoury and Garlicky – perfect combination!!

  16. Definitely the Honey soy and Garlic one. I often buy chicken-on-a-stick (kebabs) for my boys in this flavour and they inhale them! Yum!

  17. Garlic and Ginger Thai chicken stirfry- yummy! My mouth is already watering. My son devours Thai food from our local restaurant- loving the ginger and garlic flavour- so I’d love to create this healthy meal at home, knowing exactly what it’s made of!

  18. Honey, soy and garlic sounds divine
For this fussy family of mine
They all have their different likes and tastes
But more often than not, it all goes to waste!
So with this I would hope to create
A yummy meal that gets cleaned off the plate
The flavours sound nice, and would certainly please
A recipe whipped up with simplicity and ease!

  19. Teriyaki & Sesame would be perfect because our family loves everything Japanese; such as hello kitty, sushi and sukiyaki. It’s no surprise our favourite TV Show is Iron Chef.

  20. Oh it would be the honey, soy and garlic. I am vegetarian (the kids arent) I would make this for them though with just a whole heap of veggies. YUM! So versatile and great for both vegetarians or meat eaters! :) Making life simple! ;)

  21. I think my kids would cluck with delight
If we cooked Teriyaki & Sesame Chicken Stir fry,
With 4 simple steps to dinner,
Maggi Stir Fry Creation’s a winner,
For easy meals that get eaten each night! :)

  22. Maggi Stirfry Creations would make our dinner fun
But I’m not sure that we’d be able to choose just one!
Honey, Soy and Garlic would tempt most kids I know
But Teriyaki and Sesame is what my little ones think is the go!
